In 2019 Shining Stars received two grants from the Robert C. Hoffman Charitable Endowment Trust. With the generous donation Shining Stars was able to purchase 2 heated, automatic, waters for the pastures and a loafing shed.

The automatic waters will allow the horses to have fresh water every time they get a drink, and they will not freeze in the winter! The loafing shed allows Shining Stars to house additional horses and gives the horses access to shelter if they are not able to be in a stall.

These additions will make our horses more comfortable and reduce time of labor required to care for them. Thank you again, Robert C. Hoffman Charitable Endowment Trust!

On July 27, 2016 thirty local non-profit organizations were honored with grant funding at a special presentation, called the 2016 Big Give, from the Adams County Community Foundation.

The Shining Stars Therapeutic Riding Ministry was excited to receive $9,000.00 for the purchase of a skid steer loader!!

A skid loader, skid-steer loader, or skidsteer, is a small, rigid-frame, engine-powered machine with lift arms used to attach a wide variety of labor-saving tools or attachments. This piece of equipment will be a huge blessing at the Shining Stars farm! Again our thanks to ACCF and their thoughtful donors who make such generous giving back to the community a reality.
